New & Used Tires in Toronto

Tire Sales (New & Used)

MasterDrive sells new and used tires and arranges installation at our Toronto shop in North York. Compare options for your vehicle, driving conditions and budget, then confirm the exact model, size, condition and availability before booking. Mounting, balancing and TPMS work should be itemized in your quote.

Choose a tire type for Canadian driving

  • Touring all-season: comfort, tread life and everyday road use. The Michelin Defender2 is an example of this category.
  • All-weather: year-round tires with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) designation, such as the Michelin CrossClimate2. Check the exact size and application. The snow-traction designation does not make every all-weather tire equivalent to a dedicated winter tire on ice.
  • Winter: compounds and tread designed for cold-weather use. Plan changeover as temperatures approach 7°C and fit a matched set of four suitable tires. Follow the vehicle and tire manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Performance: choose summer or all-season performance tires for the conditions in which the vehicle will be driven. Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus is an all-season ultra-high-performance example; summer tires need separate cold-weather planning.
  • SUV and light-truck: highway-terrain (H/T), all-terrain (A/T) and mud-terrain (M/T) designs have different road-noise, traction and load requirements. Passenger and LT sizes are not interchangeable solely because their dimensions look similar.

Model names above are comparison examples, not a live stock list. Ask for current brand, model, size and supplier availability. Run-flat construction, XL/load capacity, EV requirements and OE markings must be checked for the specific vehicle.

Size, load index, speed rating and TPMS

Send a door-placard photo and your year, make, model and trim. A size such as 225/45R17 identifies dimensions; the service description, for example 94V, adds load index and speed symbol. Confirm the vehicle’s required load capacity, speed rating, wheel width and cold inflation pressure. Staggered fitments and AWD systems may impose axle-specific sizes or rolling-circumference limits.

Direct TPMS uses wheel-mounted sensors; indirect TPMS uses wheel-speed data. Replacement direct sensors need the correct protocol and application. Programming a sensor and relearning its ID to the vehicle are separate operations. Ask whether sensors, service kits and the required relearn are included.

New and used tires: compare the complete quote

For used tires, request tread depth in millimetres, manufacturing date, prior-repair information and inspection of the inner liner, beads and sidewalls. A date code alone does not establish condition. Confirm the applicable manufacturer’s replacement and repair criteria.

Request a CAD quote showing tire-only versus installed price, quantity, mounting and balancing, valve or TPMS work, disposal, taxes and any mobile call-out charge. Confirm warranty coverage and exclusions for the exact new or used set. Same-day work depends on stock and the available appointment.

Next: installation and balancing, seasonal changeovers, wheel alignment, or mobile tire delivery.

Tire Sales (New & Used) — FAQs

What does your tire sales service include?

We help you choose the right size, load/speed rating, and tread type; source the tires (new or used); and schedule install/balance at our shop. Shop now: Call +1 (647) 809-9631 or WhatsApp Quick Quote.

Do you sell both new and used tires?

Yes—new tires with manufacturer warranties, and carefully inspected used tires for budget-friendly options. We’ll always recommend the safest choice for your driving.

How do you inspect used tires for safety?

We check DOT age, tread depth, even wear, prior repairs, bead/sidewall condition, and runout. Only safe, roadworthy tires make the cut.

Which brands do you carry?

Ask for current availability by brand, model and exact size. Our guide uses Michelin and Continental model examples to explain tire categories; it is not a live inventory feed. We confirm stock or sourcing and the installed quote before booking.

All-season vs. all-weather vs. winter: what should I buy?

Winter (3PMSF): sub‑7°C & snow/ice. All‑weather (3PMSF): year‑round with winter approval. All‑season: best above 7–10°C. We’ll match to your use.

Can you provide EV-rated or run-flat options?

Absolutely—EV low‑rolling‑resistance tires and run‑flats where supported. We’ll confirm availability for your size and rims.

What size tires fit my car?

We use your door placard and OEM data to confirm size, load index, and speed rating. Send a photo of your placard or current tire sidewall to get started.

Do you recommend narrower winter sizes?

Often a slightly narrower winter size improves snow traction—only within OEM-approved ranges. We’ll advise if it’s suitable for your vehicle.

Can I replace a single tire or do I need pairs?

If tread and model match closely, a single may work. Otherwise we recommend pairs (or a set of four on AWD) to protect handling and driveline.

Do you offer same-day tire availability?

Same-day supply and installation depend on the exact size/model, supplier stock and appointment capacity. Confirm availability and the complete installed price before travelling.

How much do tires cost?

Price depends on size, brand, and season (winter/all‑weather/summer). We’ll present good, better, best options. Get quote: Call +1 (647) 809-9631 or WhatsApp Quick Quote.

What warranties come with new and used tires?

New-tire coverage depends on the exact manufacturer and product. Ask for the written defect, treadwear and installation terms. Used-tire condition, exclusions and any installation coverage should be stated in the quote.

Can you install and balance the tires too?

Mounting, dynamic balancing and required valve or TPMS work can be quoted with the tires. Road-force diagnostics require different equipment; confirm availability and whether the work is performed in-house or arranged.

Can you help with TPMS sensors?

Absolutely—relearn/program IDs, service kits for aluminum valves, and sensor replacement if damaged or low battery.

Do you sell performance, mud-terrain, and touring tires?

Yes—performance (UHP), A/T & M/T for trucks/SUVs, and quiet touring options for commuting. Tell us your priorities and we’ll tailor the shortlist.

What about wheel sizes and low‑profile fitment?

We supply tires up to 22" and advise on ride quality, rim protection, and speed/load ratings—especially for low‑profile setups.

Do you price‑match or offer bundles?

We’re fair on pricing and offer seasonal bundles with install/rotation where possible. Shop now: Call +1 (647) 809-9631 or WhatsApp Quick Quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card/tap and e‑transfer are available. You’ll receive a digital invoice for your records.

Which areas do you serve and where is your shop?

Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, York, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill—and nearby GTA. Our shop: 22 Ingram Drive, Unit 2, Toronto, ON M6M 2L6.
